One of the best things about the Squirrel Buster Plus is that squirrels have a really hard time trying to damage the feeder.
The squirrel's attitude to anything that contains food that it can't get at easily is to attack and destroy anything in the way of what it thinks is the direct path to the food it wants so badly.
I've had a couple of these exellent bird feeders in my yard for several years now and they are still going strong and that is despite constant attack from new squirrels that enter the neighborhood.
They have to try and they like to try hard before this clever bird feeder defeats them.
The American gray is a very determined rodent and never gives up, but they do in my yard and sometimes they look so disappointed it makes them mad!
Make sure you buy a feeder that is strong enough to do the job - because for me "squirrel resistant" is a meaningless expression as all it suggests is that it slows them down a bit!
